Thanks Karla for this site. I do not beleive we have met. Randi and I enjoyed 23 years in marriage and have one beautiful daughter, Brittney. Randi loved her life, her family, her friends, and all those who shared her life.
If you have the time or means, please join my friends and I in trying to eradicate breast cancer from our society. Susan G. Komen foundation is just one of many ways one may help achieve this goal.
God had blessed Randi and may he bless all of us.

Jimmy and I had worked at Lindey's together. He started there when he was 14 and made quite an impression on everybody he worked with.
Jim was everyone's kid brother or son for the 1st couple of years and I looked forward to working with him. He was a hard worker and during the rushes, he was really appreciated. He liked to have fun too but he could be counted upon when things were tough.
He saved his money to buy a very nice '68 Mustang Convertable that he had a lot of pride in. Almost as much pride though as his baby sister. He doted upon her as if she were his own and liked to brag about her accomplishments.
We made some life long friendships in those days and I'm surprised I hadn't learned of this before. There will soon be more of his friends that will be saddened by this loss.

I had no idea that he had passed away. I have great memories of being in his class twice during my years at MVHS. He was one of the people that made me want to pursue an English degree in college.
I am sad that we has past and send my thoughts to his family.

I always remember him discussing Cool Hand Luke, wearing his suit jacket with the elbow pads on them.

He is missed.

Charlie was a good friend. I remember his love for music and playing the bass guitar. Charlie and several others played live on the cafeteria stage at Johanna Junior High School.

Randi was one of my best friends in jr. high. She was a great friend and we had some very fun times, in spite of Pacer her parents made her drive. We spent alot of time at the rink.

Why are there so many deceased classmates? It saddens me.

Hello Roger:
Just was looking at the MV site and was
surprised to see your current information..and
I had just looked up your MV photo at the '78
site! I was in your French class (Jeunemann)
back in '76-77 and boy do I remember the
laughs from you and Amri Elsafy. I really enjoyed the school and that class because of people like
you. I graduated in '77. Best wishes to you,
hope to have contact some day. I live in
St. Paul.

I have been in Mounds View a lot in the past 12 years. I am a member of the Mounds View High School Alumni Choir. We performed at two of the all class reunions and we meet at Mounds View every other week during the regular school year. If there are any members of any of the choirs from out class, please come and sing with us. We meet every other Saturday morning from 8:45 to approx. 11:30 a.m. and usually have 2 performances in the spring and 2 performances at Christmans time. We are always looking for new members. If you were in choir in high school and would like to sing again, you can contact me at house024@umn.edu and I can let you know our next meeting date. Mrs. Bernice Ness is still our choir director. As a matter of Fact on this Thursday, May 10 on KARE11 10 p.m. news, reporter Boyd Huppert is doing a special feature honoring Mrs. Ness and the choir. So tune in! Charlie and I became friend's during high school. I remember in the ninth grade we got lined up against each other during football practice. I was on offense and Charlie was on defense. I thought I didn't like Charlie at the time so I beat the crap out of him on the field. As a result the coach promoted me to first string tackle. After that Charlie and I talked and I found out I liked him as a friend. After that we hung out together at a few parties and get together's. I am truely sorry to hear that Charlie is gone. He was a very good friend.

This hit me pretty hard. Jim and I were very good friends during our high school years. I hadn't seen Jim in many years. However I did drive out to Nemo, South Dakota to see him. My wife , Bonnie and I suprised him as he did not know we were coming. We rounded up a few horses and went for a ride in the mountainous area around were he lived. Jimmy acted as a guide and showed us some areas the normal tourists never get to see. After that we went back to his house and played cards and had a few drinks. I am really going to miss him.

I just found this site and I am glad to see it is here. Thanks Karla. I am sorry to find out that Randi Raymond had passed away. She was a sweet person and always was so nice to me. We always got along when we talked and I remember her as a true friend. I hope God takes good care of her as she was a good person.
