Peter Austin

As Senior Vice President of Welsh Capital, LLC, Peter is responsible for the origination and placement of commercial real estate loans with third party lenders on behalf of Welsh’s existing clients. In addition, Peter promotes the services of Welsh Capital to new clients.

Welsh Capital’s strategy is to provide the best financing services to its clients as well as introducing them to the other services of Welsh Companies, including architecture, construction, research, leasing and management, enabling him to service all of his client’s real estate needs.

Peter comes to Welsh Capital with more than 20 years of commercial real estate lending, construction and property management experience. Since its inception in late 1998, Welsh Capital has originated in excess of 400 loan transactions with a transactional volume in excess of $900 million.

An active member in our community, Peter serves on the board of Affordable Housing Connections, Inc., a non-profit organization whose mission is preserving and expanding affordable housing in the Minneapolis/Saint Paul area.
